Man sues company for paying him $126,000 for doing 'nothing'
(Web Desk) – A man working with the Rail Company earning and amount of $126,000 monthly, sued his company since he a given no work to do.
An Ireland resident living in Dublin, lodged a complaint against his bosses, because he claims that he wasn’t given any work at office and was getting paid for doing nothing. He added that he was given very little work as a penalty for questioning company accounts.
According to the reports, Dermot Alastair Mills told that after the man started to ask questions about company’s irregular accounts and payments back in 2014.
As a punishment for interfering they sidelined him and was given no work to do. Mr. Mills was a finance manager at Irish Rail. He further added that he spends most of his day reading newspapers, having food, and enjoying long walks.
“I’d say if I got something that required me to do work once a week, I’d be thrilled,” Mr Mills told the court during the hearing.
“I buy two newspapers, The Times and The Independent, and a sandwich. I go into my cubicle, I turn on my computer, and I look at emails. There are no emails associated with work, no messages, no communications, no colleague communications,” he further told the judge.
